During the coronavirus pandemic, Pippins staff began assembling this Home Resources area to help support our families through lockdown. We wanted to ensure that all the children in our community continued to have access to fun, enriching activities and learning experiences, even while the government was asking most of us to stay at home. To date, we have posted over 150 resources in this area, which you can use at home with your children. These activities are meant to engage and inspire you and your children, not to make extra work for you. Therefore, please pick and choose only those activities that you feel are most suitable for your family.
Happy playtime!

Here is an easy art project from Babble Dabble Do. Making Muffin Tin Prints is all about letting your kids experiment with colour. Supplies needed are a muffin tin (or similar), some different coloured paints, paintbrushes (or fingers!), paper and scissors.
Check out this short video from ‘Down on the Farm’ on CBeebies. With a small container, a few stones, and some carrot tops or other vegetable scraps, your children can practice their gardening skills.
We know tissues are quite hard to come by in supermarkets at the moment, but if you can spare a single tissue, try this Tissue Dance game to get the kids up and moving.
The very talented Jackie from Musical Bumps sings ‘Walking Through the Jungle’. If your child has a shaker and/or a monster puppet, grab them for this song!
Then Jackie reads ‘Emily Brown and the Thing’ by Cressida Cowell and Neal Layton.
